Low Pressure Misting Kits 12" to 36" Fans
Our low pressure misting kits provide an economical alternative for evaporative cooling while still supplying up to the equivalent of two cooling tons* per fan. The low pressure system can operate with supply pressures as low as 40 PSI**.

Misting and Fogging SystemsWhen air exchange and velocity cooling is not enough to keep your people, plants or animals healthy, a J&D Manufacturing misting system is the way to go. Our four way and six way stainless steel crosses come completely assembled with gray nozzles, a 6' hose and female hose connector. The mist rings can be easily attached with a tie wrap to any recirculating fan guard. The strong and corrosion resistant stainless cross keeps the nozzle perpendicular to the air stream of the fan (unlike poly rings where nozzles twist and sometimes form water droplets back together). The 50 micron water droplets coming out of the nozzles create a mist pattern approximately four feet long. When the water droplet evaporates, latent heat is taken from the air. The lower the humidity is in the air, the greater the window of opportunity is to cool your building down. You must provide a zone in front of the fan 6' long x 5' wide where no solid objects will block the mist. This is important to allow the water droplets time to evaporate before reforming on a solid surface. A properly designed J&D Manufacturing misting system can drop the ambient temperature up to 20°F in low humidity. Whenever you inject moisture into a closed building, you must have a proper air exchange strategy. Call J&D Manufacturing’s team of ventilation design engineers to design the proper system for you. In some states, mist rings can only be installed on fans that are UL507 Outdoor Certified. Call J&D Manufacturing for the largest selection of low cost and high performance UL507 Certified fans. 1000 PSI FoggingHigh Pressure rings are designed to work with a pump that increases water pressure to 1,000 PSI. The advantage to high pressure is the water droplet comes out in a 15 micron size and gives close to 100% flash evaporation. This means no water on floors, plants or animals (as long as a 6' x 5' no object area is provided). The brass high pressure nozzle has a built–in anti drip valve so when the pump is shut off the nozzles will not drip. Besides cooling, the 1,000 PSI system can be used to increase humidity inside buildings.
